As part of its campaign to be the top payment provider for Chinese travelers abroad, Visa partnered with taste-making app Dianping (“China’s Yelp”) to create a piece of digital content centered around China’s biggest international travel destination – Japan. My team and I created an interactive video that took viewers to unique Dianping experiences in Osaka that were part of Visa’s extensive payment network.

“The Chase” tells the story of a young Chinese couple visiting Osaka who are led on a whirlwind tour of the city by an impish local businessman. While taking their picture, the businessman takes off running with their phone. The couple chase after. Along the way, they discover some of Osaka’s hidden gems.

My role in this project included concept development, client selling, and production supervision.
